JEE Main is one of the highly competitive entrance exams in India. Over 10 lakh applicants register each year for around 40,000 seats available at NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Additionally, out of the 10 lakh applicants only 2.5 lakh candidates are eligible for the IIT JEE exam. Additionally, there are 64 chapters in the JEE Main Syllabus that are to be prepared for the exam. All this makes the exam highly competitive and a tough one to crack. However, with proper preparation and resources, question bank, books, etc. candidates can ace the exam well. The National Testing Agency(NTA) conducts the JEE main national level entrance test for admission to B .Tech, B .Arch, BE, B .Plan programmes in NITs ,IITs and other technical schools across the country.
The JEE coaching institutes will release paper analysis for all the subjects post the exam, Which will be prepared on the basis of difficulty level of questions and the reaction of candidates taking the exam. With the help of JEE main paper analysis, Candidates will be able to access the important topics from each subject and thereby understand the degree of difficulty. We will talk about the JEE Main chapter weights for 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, and 2019. Based on all of the questions from both exam sessions’ total exam shifts, the JEE Mains chapters with the highest weighting are given below.
