Introduction:

The JEE Main examination is the first stage of a two-tiered process that leads to admission to prestigious engineering schools such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). The process also includes funding and recognition from participating State Governments for these institutions.
